13th Day 🧡 Morning Reflections & Sacred Nourishment
Peace Sangha,
This morning, I woke up later than usual, feeling the deep healing benefits of my fast, gently working through my body. Because of this, I was unable to break my fast in the way I had hoped, as I had an appointment with Manchester Crematorium. To honour my body's needs, I made a glass of orange juice to take with me on the go. Afterwards, the many demands and distractions of the outside world began to pull me in different directions, so it took longer for me to break my fast.
Before breaking my fast and preparing my meal, I knew it was essential to find my centre, to ground myself in calmness, love, and peace. I turned to prayer and meditation at my altar, allowing my being to settle within. This sacred pause helped me reconnect with my intention and intuition, creating a space for creative, mindful nourishment that I lovingly deserved and needed.
With a heart full of gratitude, I felt ready to prepare a loving meal for myself and my son. I approached this act with love, tenderness and care more than ever, taking my time and ensuring that greed never got in my way.
What I Divinely Offered my Body Temple
🌕 The Holy Cross - Sacred Sacral Soup
The soothing and natural sweet blends of plantain, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and coconut, warming and deeply nourishing and revitalising every cell in my body, while also providing a grounding and calming effect for both body, mind and soul.
🍓 Smoothie Divine
A divine combination of strawberries, banana, irish moss, turmeric, brazil nuts, yoghurt, and ice cubes, cooling, bursting with vitality.
🍵 Herbal Tea
The infused aromas of fresh herbs such as camomile, alfalfa, burdock root, and turmeric bringing together the beauty of their naturally supportive, calming and relaxing effects.
Trusting my intuition, I choose to offer soft, nourishing foods to serve my temple as I break my fast. As I move into Day 3 of this practice, I plan to begin gently introducing solid foods, easing my body back to regular meals. I have decided to share some of this process with you all along the way.
