October: Transitioning in Grace - Honouring the Late Nayaswami Nalini

Peace Sangha,

The inspiration to create the Transitioning in Grace Support Group originally came from the late Nayaswami Nalini, who was not only a founding member of Ananda Village but also a devoted disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. It all began when I attended a deeply moving webinar she presented, titled “Transitioning to Grace: A Yogi’s Approach to Death and Dying.” Her insightful words and compassionate outlook inspired me to write a blog post in less than an hour after the webinar concluded.

After her passing, and through reading her book, I felt a strong inner guidance to trust my intuition and develop a grief support group. Over the past three years, the creation of the group has been a meaningful project for me, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through art and poetry, all inspired by the wisdom found in her book.

Here are the resources that were shared in our group last month

The next Transitioning in Grace is a “Candlelight Service” and will take place on Saturday 29th November at 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

If you have a photo of your loved one, please feel free to bring it along as a comforting reminder of their presence and love.

Please send me an email or message to confirm your attendance.

Blessings & Love
