Step 2… We Have Faith

Blessings, Dear Friends,

Welcome to Step 2…We Have Faith.

Where we, will take the next step into the 6th Chakra, the Spiritual Eye, Third Eye Chakra or the Anja Chakra located at the point between the eyebrows… Where we will have faith and take a seat with Jesus Christ in his Expansive Divine Light…

Jesus said “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light”. Matthew 6:22

The all seeing eye, as described by Matthew, if we take our time to understand this bible verse it will help us to see through our limitations of our human existence and expand our thinking… Where the Divine Christ Light will dissolve and merge into the Christ Consciousness and expand our thinking beyond our ego…

I was once blind and now I can see.

In the Bible, Jesus healed a man of his blindness and restored sight to many who were spiritually blind as well. If we learn to tune in to His faith and wisdom, how might that transform our lives in meaningful and lasting ways?

I Vow

How many vows do we unconsciously make for ourselves—vows that quietly cloud our judgment, faith and lead us to spiritual blindness—so subtle that we can't even recognise their presence or understand or see the impact our unconscious vows have on our lives?

For example, I vow not to speak to that person again, I vow that I will behave, I vow not to drink again, I vow to eat more healthier, I vow that I will never be broke again… I vow to never let anyone hurt me again… I vow to never smoke again... These unconscious vows, which we are often completely unaware of, keep us trapped in repetitive negative patterns of behaviour, weakens our faith and potentially sabotage our ability to experience true happiness and joy.

So for Step 2 we are going to develop our faith and create our own unique vow with Jesus Christ…

I would like you to think about what faith means to you…. How do you feel about creating your own new vow? Does your faith cause you, to remain quiet and hidden, unsure of how to share and embody it? Would you feel afraid of how others might respond to your newfound faith and vow and the changes it will bring?

I was once lost and now I am found; I was blind before, but now I can clearly see the path ahead.

To conclude with our new faith and our new sight with Jesus Christ, let’s embrace this month by creating a vow for ourselves that will bring us clarity of mind, nonviolence, truthfulness, non greed, joy, peace, love, spiritual growth and transformation, world peace and harmony and understanding …

Below are some sacred and uplifting words to help us develop our faith and create our vow with Jesus Christ.

  • As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.

  • I will plunge the gaze of my faith through the window of the spiritual eye, and baptize my body in the healing light of Christ Consciousness.

  • He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.

  • 11 Teach me your way, Lord,

        that I may rely on your faithfulness;

    give me an undivided heart,

        that I may fear your name.

    12 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;

    I will glorify your name forever.

    13 For great is your love toward me;

        you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.

  • Affirmation: I have Faith

  • After spending some time in reading, reflection and journaling … Refer to the Visualisation & meditation and when you have finished, if you feel too… You can offer your gratitude and devotion to Jesus Christ by drawing art or writing poetry or finding your own meaningful hearts way.

Yamas & Niyamas

  • In an ordinary sense, very few people actually steal anything from others, partly because of the social stigma attached to stealing.

    Gandhiji, however, gave a far wider connotation to stealing. According to him those members of the family who help them-selves to better facilities depriving the other members, are thieves. Even those who enjoy luxuries not available to the lower strata of society are also thieves.

    So, a person who wishes to apply Asteya in his life ought to lead such a simple life that he takes for himself from society only his minimum requirements.

    In the Ashram, one aspect of Asteya, namely avoiding waste, was strictly observed. Nothing was to be wasted-food, water, clothes or even paper. As a matter of fact, Gandhiji would reply to a letter in the blank half; he used to open addressed envelopes on all sides, gum them up inside out and use them again; the idea was something more than mere frugality - he wanted to use as little of the people's money as possible for his own purpose and thus be as little indebted to society as possible. It was on this principle that he did not allow Kasturba the personal use of the gifts she received in South Africa for his public service.

    Mahatma Gandhi

  • In its most covetous and avaricious display, greed leads to stealing, dishonesty, cheating, self-surfeit at the expense of the well-being of others. If man allows himself to be conquered by greed, his life and spirit will be ruined and shattered by suffering.

    Krishna warns the devotee Arjuna that the threefold gate to hell is lust, anger, and greed; therefore, these must be abandoned.⁴

  • Asteya, or Non-Stealing, encourages us to deeply examine how we relate to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us, especially in light of our greedy tendencies. This may include behaviours such as stealing, dishonesty, jealousy, and anger, which can have an effect on our harmony and the trusting relationships we build with ourselves and others….

    By choosing to live a simple, honest, and truthful life, we can create the foundation to align ourselves more closely with the principle of Asteya.

  • I was once lost and now I am found; I was blind before, but now I can clearly see the path ahead.

Visualisation & Meditation (6th Chakra - Spiritual Eye - Christ Consciousness) by Prashanti

Aligning faith, truth, and speech with God's words. Let’s consciously direct our faith towards the spiritual eye, which is located at the point between the eyebrows. This sacred centre helps us to transcend our limitations, the ego, and the distractions of the physical world. By focusing here, we open ourselves to a deeper connection with our inner divine guidance, allowing clarity and wisdom to illuminate our journey with Jesus Christ.

Matthew Chapter 6 verse 22 says “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light”.

So let’s light up the all seeing eye with the radiant Divine Light of Christ, allowing its brilliance to illuminate our inner vision. Let’s take a quiet moment to spend some time simply gazing at the image before us, gently connecting with the deep, calming colour indigo that represents the chakra…

Now let's focus our full attention on the spiritual eye, located at the point between the eyebrows, and notice the vibrant, radiant light that is emanating softly from the image before us. Now, with a calm and steady breath, let’s gently close our eyes, while maintaining our focused awareness on the divine spiritual eye within.

And silenty affirm these words with me by Paramhansa Yogananda, I will plunge the gaze of my faith through the window of the spiritual eye, and baptize my body in the healing light of Christ Consciousness.

Then, through the clear vision of your divine spiritual eye, visualise Jesus Christ seated in a place of honour before you. As you gaze into His compassionate eyes, He gazes back at you and invites you gently to take your rightful seat in reverence and closeness to Him.

As you take your Divine Seat, you quietly say to Jesus,

Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name....

You begin to feel a warm, soothing light filling your entire body with a calming energy. You then begin to feel sensations of gentle waves, softly flowing up and down your spine, moving smoothly, continuing your journey back upwards to your spiritual eye…

In this sacred and Divine space, you humbly ask Jesus Christ to gently reveal to you what your true vow should be. When you feel a clear and peaceful sense that you have received your heartfelt answer, take a deep and sincere bow of gratitude before Him. Remain in the silence, the stillness, and bask in His radiant Christ light, thanking Him deeply for guiding and helping you on your spiritual journey through Step 3 We have faith.
